Joe Lawrence “Larry” Snead was born on December 4, 1952 in Amarillo, Texas, the son of Joe Snead and Willie “Jo” Snead. He passed away on May 8, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 71. 
Larry grew up in Amarillo, Texas. After graduating high school, he went on to college and became a Landman for the Oil and Gas Industry. He met the love of his life, Kim, in his early 20s and they married on January 4, 1975 in Amarillo, Texas. Together, their family grew by two sons and two granddaughters. 
Larry loved cooking, playing golf, fishing and traveling with his sweetheart, Kim. They had many adventures through life together, even scuba diving. He really loved his dogs, but his happiest times were when he was with his family, whom he loved the most. 
He will be greatly missed by those he left behind.
