Kenneth Stringer

Classmate City: Fort Worth
Classmate State: TX
Classmate Country: USA
Survived By: Sarah-wife Matt-son

Kenneth Neely Stringer, 51, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2004, from injuries sustained in an auto accident, Sunday, May 23, 2004.

Ken and I were roommates at UT. We studied hard but played hard as well. After graduation, I lost track of him for several years but later ran into him at the Texas Club in Dallas. He was a lawyer working for Bank of America but commuting from Fort Worth. I would see him occasionally until he opened his practice in Fort Worth. Ken was a friend and a great guy with a dry sense of humor. I miss him a lot.  (Submitted by David Moore)

I knew Ken in elementary school, but we really became good friends after we graduated from high school. Ken was extremely intelligent and fun to be around. Ken and I and a few other good friends of ours got together several times a year until his death in 2004. Ken, Sarah, and Matthew were on their way home from church one Sunday when a heavy-duty commercial pickup ran a red light and collided with the Stringers. I still maintain contact with Sarah and Matthew and have invited them to our reunion.
